Healthy Spiced Chicken Stir-Fry

Here we have our newest recipe Healthy Spiced Chicken Stir-Fry!  It is a true winner in our house..  All of us here at Healthier Lifestyle Recipes love a really good stir-fry, so we wanted to come up with a recipe that has not only an amazing flavor, but some really good benefits for our bodies.  So here is our version of a Healthy Spiced Chicken Stir-Fry!   We hope you love it as much as we do…

So here you go
    • 8 Boneless Chicken Tenderloins
    • 3/4 tsp. Sea Salt
    • 3/4 tsp. Organic Spice/Herb Seasonings
    • 2 Tbs. Organic Olive Oil
    • 1 small onion finely chopped
    • 1 medium Green Pepper (sliced)
    • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper (sliced)
    • 1/4 Head of Broccoli (florets cut into halves)
    • 1 tsp. Organic Ground Cumin
    • 2 tsp. Organic Chopped Garlic
    • 1/4 tsp. Organic Ground Cinnamon
    • 3 carrots julienned
    • 1 cup Basmati White Rice
    • 3/4 cup Walnut Pieces (optional)
    • 1/2 cup Raisins (optional)


Sprinkle chicken with 1/2 tsp of salt and 3/4 tsp. garlic pepper.  In a large non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.  Add chicken; cook, turning, until browned on all sides.  Cover; reduce heat to low and simmer until cooked through, about 15 minutes.  Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.  Add garlic, onions, green peppers, red bell peppers, broccoli, carrots to drippings in skillet; cook, stir, until slightly tender, about 3 minutes.  Stir in cumin, cinnamon and remaining 1/4 tsp salt.  Stir in rice(dry) until coated in vegetables, garlic and seasonings; add 1 1/2 cups of water.  Let simmer around 10 minutes, then return chicken to skillet.  Cover; over low heat, cook, stir occasionally, for an additional 5 minutes until rice is tender.  Served topped with walnut and raisins (optional).
